SPARROWS

Jesus often used sparrows to illustrate His point.

Luke 12:6-7
"Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins?  And not one of them is forgotten before God......Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."
In this scripture, what was Christ's point?

YOU ARE VALUABLE IN GOD'S EYES!

Always remember to base your worth on God's amazing love and acceptance.

Today are you feeling alone like "a sparrow on the housetop"?
Do you feel as if "your nest" has been torn apart by a storm?
Psalm 102:6-7
"I am like.....a sparrow alone on the housetop."
Yes, loneliness can be devastating.  But, God truly understands and He does care!
He knows every detail about you.
Be encouraged.

Psalm 84:3-4
"Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young....even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, My King and my God.  Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You.  Selah"
Jesus sees and He longs for you to come home to Him.  You can feel safe.
He knows your needs!

......more GREAT NEWS.
Matthew 10:29
"Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will."
God not only knows when you are lonely, when your lost, or feeling worthless, He also sees when you fall. And, when you fall, He will lift you up again.
He LOVES you!
There is never any reason to try and hide from Him.
He is waiting and looking for you to come home to Him.  He will not condemn but will restore you and give you a fresh start.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:26-33,  "Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them.  And aren't you far more valuable too Him than they are?  Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?  And why worry about your clothing?  Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow.  They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.  And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you.  Why do you have so little faith?.....
These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.  Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need."

Stand on these promises of scripture.
